Screen print by Pieter Celie signed and numbered on 250 copies. Pieter Celie (Eindhoven, August 31, 1942 - Borgerhout, November 16, 2015) is the pseudonym of Theo van de Bult. Celie is a Dutch artist who has worked as a sculptor, graphic artist, painter, draftsman and photographer. His father Bernhard van de Bult was also a photographer. Celie received the Incentive Prize from the Municipality of Eindhoven (1969), the Friendship Prize from the City of Antwerp (1969) and the Bronze Medal from the City of Ostend (1976).[1] He has also exhibited his work in important museums in both the Netherlands and Belgium. The Center for Fine Arts of Brussels or BOZAR, the Royal Museum of Fine Arts of Antwerp, the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen of Rotterdam, De Krabbedans and the Museum Kempenland of Eindhoven. There are works of art by Pieter Celie in the art collections of West Flanders Ypres and the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen. The artist lived in Antwerp, Belgium, from the 1960s.
