Bengt Karl Erik Lindström was born in 1925 Lapland Sweden where the Sàmi king was his godfather and died after suffering a stroke in 2003 in 2008 Sweden. Bengt Lindström's Lapland filled his artworks with a bold presence of color, shape and figures referencing the legends and stories of mystical beings with usually distorted faces.
