Vossie, born in Amsterdam in 1959, is a visual artist who has been active in the art world for no less than 45 years. His artistic journey was deeply influenced by the COBRA group, an influential art movement that emerged in the cities of COpenhagen, Brussels and Amsterdam and was known for its experimental approach to art. Vossie became fascinated by the avant-garde ideas of COBRA and found color its chief means and expression. His artworks radiate a vibrant and dynamic energy, inspired by the spontaneity and freedom that characterized the COBRA movement.
