Beautiful etching from 1987 by the painter Guillaume Corneille (1922-2010), born in Liège of Dutch parents, a founding member of the Cobra movement. Identified as an important figure in the renewal of abstraction in Northern Europe, Corneille gradually moved towards a rich and colourful Nouvelle Figuration from 1967 onwards, in line with the Pop Art taste of the 1960s and 1970s, and exhibited alongside Andy Warhol, Arman, César, etc. Large format: 51 x 58 cm - 1987 Signed and dated in graphite by the artist - Numbered EA Very good condition.
