Large format lithograph (76 x 56 cm) by the painter Guillaume Corneille (1922-2010), born in Liège of Dutch parents. Life is a palette of colours and a complicity between the animal world and the human being. A great collector of African art, Corneille plays on the clarity of signs and the symbolic significance of a Niger mask or an Ivory Coast statuette. The painter liked to repeat: "Of my life, I have made it a colourful day". Work signed and dated in pencil.
