KAMAGURKA - Those ears… Belgian cartoonist, theater and television maker and all-round artist. Kamagurka is known for its absurd cartoons and TV shows. Kamagurka (Luc Zeebroek) was born in 1956 on the Belgian coast. He studied at KASK in Ghent, but dropped out before his final exams. He started working as a cartoonist at HUMO and quickly gained fame. Kamagurka publishes in several magazines and newspapers from the Netherlands, France, UK, Germany, Austria, USA and many others. He did several shows on Belgian and Dutch television, had a radio show with Herr Seele (his lifelong companion) on Studio Brussel, and performs throughout the year in the Netherlands and Belgium. He also wrote a children's fairy tale and two plays that were performed at NTG in Ghent. Kamagurka has released more than 25 comic books, from Bert and Bobje to Cowboy Henk. As a painter he has also exhibited in several galleries and museums in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
