Franco Bonvicini, known by his pseudonym Bonvi, was born on 31 March 1941 in Modena, Italy, and died on 10 December 1995 in Bologna. He was an Italian cartoonist who entered the world of contemporary art with a number of prints. In particular, Bonvi is the author of the comics Sturmtruppen (a successful anti-militarist comic), Nick Carter and Milo Marat.
