Abstract Expression - mixed media: acrylic paint, ink and collage, combined with etching techniques on scooped paper - 48 x 68 cm without frame, 51 x 71 cm with frame - hand signed in pencil in the bottom right: Sander '87 - on the back of the work is also a work (reused work?), hand-signed Sander '83. SANDER FRIEDHOFF (1954-1989) was a Dutch graphic and conceptual artist and painter, born in The Hague, with later a studio in Amsterdam. Friedhoff experimented with different techniques in his abstract artworks. He often used a combination of acrylic paint, ink and graphite, combined with collage and etching techniques on the paper he used for this. He created most of his artworks in the 70s and 80s. He died at the age of 35. The work is delivered including black metal frame with glass. The visible creases in the paper are caused by the paint and the collage. No damage.
