My work represents Jacques Richez's Iris revisited. This is the former emblem of the Brussels-Capital Region from 1991 to 2015. I have noticed that over time the works of art, but especially the logos, emblems and coats of arms, become more and more simple. A stylized Iris flower becomes simple hearts that represent an Iris! Complex and colorful logos turn into combinations of geometric shapes. The link needs to be simple and fast to stand out in a world that is becoming increasingly saturated with images and brands. Aesthetics become secondary in favor of marketing. Let's simplify life, even if it gets more and more complicated! Active in the graffiti world since 1996, Reset'81 works in a colorful universe. Creating pieces that are both dynamic, he is known for his innate sense of contrast, depth and his attention to detail. It daringly combines letters and illustrations, a world between abstractions and psychedelics.
