With its micro-architectural shape, the Unfold lamp brings a warm and friendly presence to the room. The white paper surface hides a colorful story that is revealed as soon as you turn it on! The table lamp is made of folded paper, steel structure, colored plywood base and cover, a colorful handle and electric cord. The Japanese bamboo fiber paper is printed with a custom pattern to evoke an imaginary landscape. The steel structure is made in collaboration with local craftsmen. The power cord is woven by a small Italian family manufacturer. The wood veneer is embellished with ink coloring which makes each model unique. The light bulb is accessible from under the object. This is the first prototype of the latest product designed and made by the studio. The Unfold lamp is the first product made entirely in the studio.
