Nice et from the Belgian artist Joris Minne from 1944. It is hand signed and framed.
The statue itself measures 25 x 18 cm, in length 39 x 38.5 cm
Joris Minne (Ostend, 11 May 1897 – Antwerp, 31 March 1988) was a Belgian visual artist. He is known as one of the contributors to Lumière magazine (1919-1923). Together with Frans Masereel, Jan-Fr Cantré, Jozef Cantré and Henri Van Straten, the Flemish artist from Antwerp Joris Minne tot De Vijf, a group of graphic artists who are renewing the art of woodcarving.
The work has some very small oxidation spots.
