🖌 What was your motivation to participate in the challenge?
The originality of the concept and of course the auction for a good cause! Being able to try and enjoy new products in peace motivated me to take up the challenge.
🖌What was the inspiration for your work?
The words that go through my head when I make the work. The characters were born in my imagination and therefore invented.
🖌What Pentel tools did you use?
The MMP20 Paint Markers, the XGFL Color Brush Pens, and the SES15 Brush Sign Pens.
🖌What stimulates you in your creations and in art?
People, human relations and especially encounters. I was inspired by my grandfather who was a designer himself. Browsing through his old sketchbooks and drawing books motivates me to follow his lead: creating memories to be able to leave a trail. The quality of my tools is therefore essential! I try to use inks that fade as little as possible over time.
🖌What is your "style" and what is your aim in art?
My style is influenced by my training as a typographer and the world of comics, taking notes, memories,... My aim in art is to express emotions to create and memories.
