🖌 What was your motivation to join the challenge?
After being forced to "standby" for 2 years due to the corona, I was excited to participate in an event like this! It was an honor for me to be selected by Pentel and to test its products. Can't wait to meet the other artists and the audience at the various openings!
🖌What was the inspiration for your artwork?
I love to draw forests...so of course I started drawing trees. And these can only be inhabited by many colorful little animals!
🖌What Pentel tools did you use?
Brush drawing pen, pentel arts color brush and most importantly aquabrush! I love being able to start with markers and eventually feel like I'm making watercolors :-)
🖌 What stimulates you in your creations and in art?
The challenge and often the limitations! I often work "better" when the deadline is there... it's not always comfortable, but the stress gives me wings and I'm all the more proud of my illustration.
🖌What is your "style" and what is your goal in art?
I love seeing the wonder in the eyes of children who look at my illustrations. My style is quite colourful, sometimes a bit naive and poetic.
