This lithograph is by Shepard Fairey. This street artist became famous worldwide in 2008 when he designed Barack Obama's famous 'Vote' and 'Hope' election posters. Shepard Fairey hand-signed this lithograph, lower right on the front. The work is made on thick 'speckle tone' paper. This work was made in collaboration with photographer Steve Schapiro who documented the major civil rights protests in the US during the 1960s.
