Chantalle Smeets has been working as a professional artist for 20 years as a professional artist after 4 years of WIK (artist's income allowance law) in Maastricht, the Netherlands. Together with Martiene Stevens (her partner and also artist), they manage Kunsthuis Trobar Riemst (B).

During those years Chantalle Smeets has developed her own style, which is visible in her sculptures of bronze, stone, ceramics and wood. Her source of inspiration is nature. She has exhibited at various galleries and castles (including sculpture gardens) in the Netherlands and Belgium. In addition to her sculptures in various sizes, she also exhibits paintings on canvas and panel in mixed media.
