Unique print signed by Panamarenko. This is a museum piece displayed in the Marta Herford museum. This work comes from Jan Hoet. This is an announcement of a Happening on the Groenplaats in Antwerp. With a certificate of authenticity issued by the PanamarenkoShop.
Panamarenko starts his career in the 1960s as a pacemaker of various happenings, playful street performances that he orchestrates in the center of Antwerp.
Happenings are not limited to one art discipline. They take place in small spaces, in the open air and sometimes even in several places at the same time. The starting point of the happening is not so much art, but life itself. Because human action is central and coincidence plays a major role, the result is usually not fixed in advance.
The frame needs some attention or a replacement: on the suspension the wood has split a bit (barely visible in the photo).
