An abstraction by Corneille is never quite an abstraction, but often tells the story of a moment in the painter's life. Here, "Errance" is an impression of a Mediterranean landscape, where vegetation and minerals merge. Corneille travelled regularly to southern Spain between 1960 and 1964. Rare original lithograph titled, signed and dated in graphite at bottom, with reference in the Donkersloot catalogue raisonné n°125. Artist's copy with Corneille's studio stamp on reverse.
