The "Packed Reichstag Building" in Berlin was a temporary art project realized by the artist duo Christo and Jeanne-Claude. The project took place from June 24 to July 7, 1995 and involved the complete wrapping of the Reichstag building in Berlin, a historic and symbolic building in Germany. Christo and Jeanne-Claude used approximately one million square feet of silver fabric to wrap the building, along with a mile of blue rope. The aim of the project was to transform and accentuate the Reichstag building, while temporarily changing its architecture and political significance.
