The etching was touched up and colored by hand by the artist in 2012, which makes this work unique. The work is signed stating 'hand-colored RR' and 'e/a'. It is one of three 'épreuve d'artiste' works that has been updated by the artist. See graphic oeuvre no. 228 on page 182.
